Autumn Bolin
I’ve been practicing yoga for about twelve years, and in that time I’ve explored different styles–mainly Bikram, Anusara and Vinyasa. Despite undulations in the physical practice of yoga, I’ve had a steady dedication to yoga as a way of life for many years. The depth of my practice intensified when I was on bed rest toward the end of my pregnancy and unable to practice the asanas. During that time I came to understand what my practice means to me: it’s not about holding an inversion for five minutes, it’s about appreciating the fluctuations of my body, mind, and spirit that allow me to learn from the ever-changing present moment.
