Hello!!!

My name is Melinda DeBoer. I have fifteen years experience with Reiki and have been teaching since 1993. I am also an ordained minister, certified Pranic Healer and Iyengar Yoga Instructor. I am the founder of the Reiki and Yoga Wholistic Health Center in Flagstaff, AZ. I am a Master Teacher of Usui and Karuna Reiki®. And now enough of the statistics. I believe that we are all born Reiki Master Teachers. The Reiki training simply helps us to remember our Divinity.

My home base is in the beautiful ponderosa pines of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff. The Grand Canyon is 1.5 hours from my home and Sedona is 45 minutes away. This place is literally heaven on earth and I thank God for the honor of living and loving here.

In 1986 I began teaching Yoga out of my home and apprenticing with Mardi Erdman in Denver, Colorado. In Denver I received incredible Yoga training in yoga postures, Pranayama "the science of the breath," meditation and relaxation techniques, as well as Ayurvedic Medicine through the Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga and Ayurvedic Medicine with Sarasvati Burhman. An incredible growth process and opening of my heart occurred with the Reiki and Yoga. I had a lot of "old tapes" of guilt and unworthiness to release myself from. I finally took my Level I Reiki training in 1988 and Level II in 1989. I started working on myself every day and others weekly. In 1993 I became an Usui Reiki Master Teacher and began teaching immediately.

In 1995 I took the Karuna Reiki Master class. Karuna Reiki totally empowered me to take the next step into full time wholistic consulting. Since October 1996, when I was invited to teach Karuna Reiki to 30 Italian Usui Masters, I have been doing my "missionary work" around the world sharing the healing power of the love of God in action which is REIKI.
