LifeForce Yoga to Manage Your Mood
Since ancient times yogis have practiced techniques to manage their moods. We will focus on techniques that you can use to relieve depression and anxiety. You'll learn:
  • Breathing Techniques (pranayama & kriya) to calm and energize
  • Mantra (sound) and Mudra (hand positions) to regulate emotion
  • Meditation that lift the mood
  • Creating Affirmation (samkalpa)
  • Guided Visualization (bhavana)
  • A practice suitable for all levels
You'll leave feeling balanced, refreshed and energized about your own practice.
 
 
LifeForce Yoga Shakti
Shakti is the creative force that ignites consciousness and life. We will use a back breath to open and release compression in the spine and the body and the techniques of LifeForce Yoga to release our own creative and healing energies. You will leave feeling clear, refreshed and ready to meet your life head-on. Suitable for all levels of experience - previous yoga experience is a plus but not necessary. 
 
 

Rose Kress , CYT 500, LFYP-L2, began practicing yoga over 10 years ago and has been teaching since 2004. She is certified in Hatha Yoga at the 250-hour level and is a LifeForce Yoga Practitioner Level 2. Rose teaches class and workshops throughout the Tucson area and has been blessed to teach classes at The Crossings in Austin, TX, at Kripalu in Lenox, MA and at the Bisbee Yoga Expo under the guidance of her teacher, Amy Weintraub. Rose has also studied with Rama Jyoti Vernon. Rose is the Program Manager of the LifeForce Yoga Healing Institute.  www.yoginirose.com
